Apple TV+’s sci-fi drama Severance is a hit that has fans glued to their screens, especially after what is now highly considered to be one of its best episodes ever! The second season’s seventh episode “Chikhai Bardo” finally opened the door (several doors actually) into one of the show’s big mysteries - what happened to Mark’s wife Gemma, played by Nepalese-born Australian actress Dichen Lachman.

Dichen anchored the incredible episode that not only showed what’s been happening to her over the past two years, but also flashed back through her entire relationship with Adam Scott’s history professor-turned-head refiner. One of the revelations was that (spoiler alert!) Gemma has been severed into multiple women, one for each room on the testing floor.
