Butcher Boys (2013)

Almost forty years after penning the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Tobe Hooper, writer Kim Henkel uses Jonathan Swift’s satirical essay A Modest Proposal as the basis for a new horror film. Back in the Lone Star State - San Antonio to be exact - Henkel and directors Duane Graves and Justin Meeks introduce us a group of friends celebrating a birthday at a fancy restaurant. After the meal, they stop for gas and their stupid decisions put them in the crosshairs of a gang of cannibals called the Boneboys. They are mercilessly chased into an industrial park and start getting picked off one by one, until Sissy (Ali Faulkner) becomes this particular comedy thriller’s fetching Final Girl. She does her best to save her pals, but they all end up in various states of undress and tortured by an underground world of flash eaters. Speaking of flesh, there’s a scene with Katie Patterson tied up in her undies among some random naked racks and another where Tory Taranova’s tatas come out when her top's ripped off and then are covered with blood and makeup at one point, but they appear to belong to body double Kathrin Kremer. Sure it’s violent, but the gory gals of Butcher Boys will still have you beating you meat!
